The fire still burns in former Cowboys quarterback

Roger Staubach, 63, was born and grew up in Cincinnati. Few people know it, but he began his collegiate career at New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell before heading to the U.S. Naval Academy, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 1963. He spent four years on active duty in the Navy, then joined the Dallas Cowboys, where, as starting quarterback, he led the team to its first Super Bowl victory in 1972. In all, he played in four Super Bowls, winning two. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985.
